Blending the comfort of a classic English pub with the bold, island-rooted flavors of Chamorro (Guam) cuisine, The Duchess is a restaurant and neighborhood gathering place in Baltimore’s Hampden community. Opened in 2024 by restaurateur Tony Foreman and Executive Chef Kiko Fejarang, it occupies the former Café Hon corner, reimagined with a spirit that reflects Chef Fejarang’s heritage and culinary vision.
Since opening, The Duchess has quickly become a standout in Baltimore’s dining scene. Its warm, eclectic atmosphere, deeply flavorful dishes, and excellent cocktails have earned widespread media recognition, including Baltimore Magazine’s “Best New Restaurant” in 2025. A lively roster of events — live music, sports, and celebratory gatherings — has further established it as a beloved neighborhood staple. But above all, The Duchess stands as an homage to Chef Fejarang’s hometown and roots, bringing the vibrant traditions of Chamorro cuisine to Baltimore with heart and authenticity.
